針對新世代廣告設計，Google宣布推出測試版本的Google Web Designer工具，讓使用者透過簡單滑鼠點按操作，即可迅速完成以HTML5打造的互動多媒體內容。
Google透露，由於行動載具快速發展，提供跨平台使用特性的HTML5打造內容也相對變得重要。因此除在先前推出DoubleClick Studio Layouts for HTML5、Ready Creatives in AdWords等工具後，目前也宣布將推測試版Google Web Designer工具，讓使用者能更輕易打造符合HTML5規範的網頁內容。
目前Google Web Designer除免費提供使用外，將可配合內建豐富設計工具打造HTML5相容頁面、多媒體內容等，並且可分別針對DoubleClick、AdMob機制設計無縫係串連廣告內容，而使用者亦可配合相容HTML5的通用平台進行打造。同時，軟體更新方面將自動透過網路下載升級，無需重新下載安裝。
